Description

Eight sided medal, with a raised figure in speed skating pose. Two circular rings are attached at the top which are probably meant to be attached with a ribbon or chain. Inscription across bottom: "ONTARIO SPEED SKATING ASSN OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP". Engraving on back: "1925 LADIES CLASS A 220 YDS".

This photograph shows Lela Brooks and the 1932 Canadian women's skating team. All four women are posed together in a row and wearing their Team Canada Sweaters, Lela Brooks is second from the left. The rest of the woman in the photograph are unknown. In the 1932 Olympics, Lela Brooks won all her heats but only managed to place fourth. This is a black and white photograph and was printed on postcard.
