Description

Rectangular shaped medal, with curved top and bottom edges. Banners at the top with "TORONTO OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP". Raised "Toronto SSC" crest in center. A maple leaf wreath forms the border with a skate blade with a wing across top. The back is inscribed: "1927 LADIES CLASS A 220".

This photograph shows Lela Brooks and the 1932 Canadian women's skating team. All four women are posed together in a row and wearing their Team Canada Sweaters, Lela Brooks is second from the left. The rest of the woman in the photograph are unknown. In the 1932 Olympics, Lela Brooks won all her heats but only managed to place fourth. This is a black and white photograph and was printed on postcard.
