The Hall has an extensive collection of sport photographs and negatives. Visit the Honoured Members Gallery to view some amazing action and event photos of the Hall’s 506 Honoured Members. Also visit the Turofsky Gallery and the Michael Burns Gallery. These two collections alone comprise over 80,000 negatives and glass plates representing many sports and national sporting events. Photo records are being added to the galleries on a regular basis so keep visiting to see what is new!

Honoured Members Gallery

Search our collection of Honoured Member photographs. Our collection spans from turn of the 20th century sport pioneers to modern-day, 21st century champions.

Turofsky Gallery

Search the Hall's collection of photographs by renowned photographers Nat and Lou Turofsky.

The Turofsky brothers took photos of athletes and sporting events from 1909 to the late 1950's. Together, they shot some of the best action photos of their time and were never at a loss for ideas. The collection of glass plates and negatives represents over 25 sports and includes some famous events like the British Empire Games, Grey Cup games, Queen's Plate, and CNE sporting events.

Burns Gallery

Search the Hall's collection of photographs by renowned photographer Michael Burns.

The Michael Burns photography collection captures over 30 different sports from the late 1940's to the early 1990's. Michael Burns first became known for his thoroughbred racing photos and soon after for his world class curling photography. Burns covered many major sporting events including five Olympics, the Pan Am Games and Commonwealth Games.
