Cisco presents:
CSHOF Dinner and Charity Poker Evening - April 29, 2008
Tuesday, April 29, 2008
Skyservice Private Jet Hangar, Toronto
It was a full house at the second annual CSHOF Charity Poker tournament as a sold-out crowd gathered to ante up in support of the Hall.
The Skyservice Private Jet terminal was adorned with lush tropical flowers and plants and a live band help set the tone for this year's Caribbean theme. The evening of friendly competition was met with fun and camaraderie as each table was accompanied by an Honoured Member or celebrity guest. Among the Honoured Members in attendance were: Paul Henderson, Jonathon Power, Chad Folk, Curt Harnett, Bill White, Sandy Hawley, Rod Seiling, Vic Hadfield and Tony Gabriel.
Congratulations to Jay Bentley, this year's Grand Prize winner of a Conquest Vacations trip for two to SuperClubs Breezes Bahamas.
The Texas Hold'Em Tournament runners up were: Rob Faulds and Paul Sine.
Steve Hogg was the winner of the trip for two to New York City to see a New York Rangers game with Honoured Members Rod Gilbert and Vic Hadfield.
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame would like to congratulate all the winners and thank its many sponsors for making the evening a huge hit. Be sure to check sportshall.ca regularly so you can toss your hand in for next year's tournament.
