Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Announces New Board Chair
and Three New Board Governors

Calgary – Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame has elected a new Chair and three new members to its Board of Governors including Robert R. Rooney, Executive VP at Enbridge, Blake Hutcheson, President and CEO of Oxford Properties Group, Barbara Muddle-Grover, Director of Audit and Control North America in Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc., and Scott Moore, President of Sportsnet and NHL Properties.
Robert R. Rooney, Q.C. has served on the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Board of Governors since 2013 and is now taking over as Chair of the Board of Governors following Colin MacDonald’s retirement.
Blake Hutcheson is one of Canada's leading real estate executives and entrepreneurs. He is responsible for achieving Oxford's goals and executing its long-term business strategy as President and CEO of Oxford Properties Group since 2010.
Barbara Muddle-Grover is a Certified Internal Auditor with over 25 years of professional experience. She currently holds the position of Director, Audit and Control North America in Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc. She oversees the Audit & Control group for North America, including the global legacy Talisman entities. She also serves as the company’s Ethics Coordinator.
Scott Moore, President of Sportsnet and NHL Properties, is one of Canada’s top television producers and executives, with more than 30 years of industry experience. He is a veteran of eight Olympic Games, five network launches, and hundreds of major sports events and variety broadcasts.
The three new members will join the current national Board of Governors which includes new Board Chair, Robert R. Rooney, Executive VP at Enbridge, Brad Robertson, Secretary/Treasurer, Audit Partner of KPMG LLP, Geoff Beattie, CEO of Generation Capital, Sylvie Bigras, Communications Chief for Commonwealth Games Canada, Michelle Cameron Coulter, Honoured Member of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame inducted in 1991 for Synchronized Swimming, Scott Cooper, Chief Commercial Officer of Molson Coors Canada, Jack Graham, Partner at the Halifax office of McInnes Cooper, Kerrin Lee-Gartner, Honoured Member of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame inducted in 1995 for Alpine Skiing, George Marlatte, Marlatte International, and Mike Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of the Bill Reid Trust and Director of the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art in Vancouver. Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is a Registered Canadian Charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Governors. Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s mission is to share the stories of the achievements of the inducted Honoured Members to inspire all Canadians to be the best they can be in all aspects of life.
