Rob Ritchie appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame

Tim Casgrain, Chairman of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Ritchie as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Sports Hall.
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame will be relocating to Canada Olympic Park, in Calgary, Alberta, in March 2011. In this new role, Mr. Ritchie will be responsible for providing the necessary leadership and guidance in developing this new Hall of Fame and Museum.
Rob is the Retired Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). He is also on the board of directors of Skyservice Investments Inc., ShawCor Ltd. and on the advisory board of Willis Canada.
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame recognizes and honours Canada's sports heroes. It is the Hall's vision to inspire Canadian identity and national pride by telling the compelling stories of those outstanding achievements that make up Canada's sports history.
