We Will Do Better

  RACISM AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

WE CAN DO BETTER. WE WILL DO BETTER.

We recognize that we do not have all the answers, but our commitment to real change runs deep.

Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame (CSHoF) supports the fight against systemic racism. We endeavour to do our part to end racism in Canada.

THIS IS HOW…

As Canada’s national museum of sport, we have a platform and an obligation to amplify marginalized voices, and share the lived experiences of marginalized Hall of Famers.

Conversations about the BIPOC experience are essential to promoting racial justice. In the coming months, through our education programs, exhibits, and media channels, CSHoF will do more to bring awareness to the adversity that marginalized Hall of Famers have overcome and their contributions to Canada through sport.

We will continue to evaluate our internal practices, work towards diversity and inclusion, and listen to and learn from the BIPOC community.

Sport brings Canadians together and should be a vehicle for change. We will not sit idly on the sidelines.

It is our hope that these videos will prompt conversation and awareness.
