The Spirit of Motion

Experience 43 pieces of original art by Bill Brownridge, including 33 mono prints originally created for the bid book that led to the awarding of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games to Calgary. Explore the stories, artefacts, and videos of the five athletes that medalled for Canada at the 1988 Games, as well as other Olympic Treasures, with the digital interactive kiosk.

The Spirit of Motion multimedia exhibit is free for all visitors at the base of the Calgary Tower.

Play Hard, Fight Hard: Sport and the Canadian Military

Through this bilingual exhibit, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is proud to extend our commitment as a digital museum to share enriching stories and invaluable lessons from the realm of sports history on a global scale.
