The Spirit of Motion
Experience 43 pieces of original art by Bill Brownridge, including 33 mono prints originally created for the bid book that led to the awarding of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games to Calgary. Explore the stories, artefacts, and videos of the five athletes that medalled for Canada at the 1988 Games, as well as other Olympic Treasures, with the digital interactive kiosk.
The Spirit of Motion multimedia exhibit is free for all visitors at the base of the Calgary Tower.
Indigenous Heroes
Multimedia digital exhibit that share the truths, experiences, and successes of Indigenous Hall of Famers and Tom Longboat Award Winners who helped build Canada through sport. This vetted resource also explores the history of Indigenous Games such as the Arctic Winter Games, North American Indigenous Games, and the World Indigenous Games.
Play Hard, Fight Hard: Sport and the Canadian Military
Highlighting how sport reinforces military concepts such as teamwork, leadership, fitness, and tactical planning, this exhibit illustrates the natural alignment between athletes and the military. Through this bilingual exhibit, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is proud to extend our commitment as a digital museum to share enriching stories and invaluable lessons from the realm of sports history on a global scale.
